Forward-Thinking Discussion on Biological Collections Webinar

On January 14, two USCCN participants, Kyria Boundy-Mills (Phaff Yeast Culture Collection, UC Davis) and Manzour Hazbon (formerly of ATCC), were two of several panelists associated with many types of biological collections at a 2-hour webinar organized by the Biodiversity Collections Network (BCoN).
The webinar explored various aspects of planning the future of biodiversity collections, primarily natural history museums, and expanding inclusion of living collections in BCoN. The webinar was attended by over 500 viewers from 33 countries.
