Capacity to accept orphan collections

Retiring researchers or graduating students can send us collections of up to several hundred strains, and we will consider incorporating them. Strains that are candidates for inclusion have been published, or characterized in some other way.

Collection follows best management practice guideline

We use procedures perfected in the Chlamydomonas community for cell maintenance and characterization over the past 75 years of research.
