It is possible that the Erwinia tracheiphila strains could be used as reference strains for the plant disease cucurbit bacterial wilt, and the Serratia marcescens strains could be used as reference strains for the plant disease cucurbit yellow vine disease.

I anticipate being at my institution with the collection for the next five years. The collection, however, is contingent on my presence at the institution, like most academic collections.
