Contingency Plan

The collection is recognized as an official service of the host Institution, the University of Valencia, as stated in its Statutes. It is quite unlikely that the collection could close down in the medium term

To find Data managers and/or IT specialists to handle the database and apps needed to properly run and exploit the collection. To find an accurate and affordable electronic system to manage the collection. To adapt the collection to new biosafety/biosecurity regulations. Funds for new equipment: Upgrade the facilities to allocate liquid N2 tanks, upgraded MALDITOF equipment.
